Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Dunedin Animal Medical Center. The Veterinary Technician will be responsible for providing top-quality care to our animal patients while assisting our veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgeries. The ideal candidate must have a passion for working with animals, be able to multitask, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• – Assisting our veterinarians during patient exams, surgeries, and treatments.
• – Administering medications and vaccines.
• – Monitoring patient vital signs during surgical procedures and postoperatively.
• – Collecting and analyzing laboratory samples.
• – Maintaining medical records and ensuring accurate documentation.
• – Providing compassionate care to our animal patients and their owners.

Qualifications:
• – Must have a Veterinary Technician certification or equivalent experience.
• – 1+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
• – Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• – Knowledge of animal behavior and handling.
• – Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients.
• – Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• – Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Schedule:
